Pharmacy Operations & Compliance Leader

Location: Greater Tampa Area

A rapidly growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced pharmacy operations leader to oversee day-to-day pharmacy functions within a fast-paced, highly operational environment. This individual will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance, optimizing workflow processes, supporting operational scalability, and leading pharmacy personnel within a production-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure operational efficiency, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and operational personnel
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational procedures and workflow processes
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards, and internal quality requirements
• Participate in regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance-related activities
• Monitor operational productivity metrics and recommend process improvements as needed
• Review operational documentation and ensure accuracy of records and reporting
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, compliance, training, and leadership teams to support organizational objectives
• Support staffing, workflow planning, and operational scalability initiatives
• Promote a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in good standing
• Multi-state licensure or ability to obtain additional licenses preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy experience across multiple practice settings
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, operational compliance, and quality standards
• Experience within specialty pharmacy, infusion, fulfillment, mail-order, compounding, or production pharmacy environments strongly preferred
• Experience with SOP development, workflow optimization, and operational process improvement highly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with evolving operational needs
